Booking terms & conditions

1. Bookings

The availability page on this website gives an indication of the current booking position but is not a guarantee of availability. If The Cider Mill is shown as unbooked, please complete the form to make a provisional reservation.

2. Deposit

A deposit of 20% of the rental or full rental is required with the booking form except for Xmas and New Year weeks when a 40% deposit is required. The Cider Mill will remain provisionally booked for 72 hours from time of booking and if the deposit is not received within this time, will be cancelled. Remittances must be made in pounds sterling by BACS bank transfer or cheque. The deposit is returnable if the booking is not accepted.

3. Final Payment

The full balance of the total holiday cost is payable no later than 60 days before the holiday begins. If the full balance is not paid on time we reserve the right to cancel the booking, in which case the deposit will be forfeited. If the booking form is submitted eight weeks or less before the commencement of the holiday then the full holiday cost should be sent with the booking form.

4. Cancellation

If a guest cancels less than 60 days before the holiday begins we will endeavour to re-book the property and, if successful, will refund monies paid less the deposit. With more than 60 days cancellation notice, the deposit would only be forfeited if we are unable to relet the dates. Guests are therefore advised to take out holiday cancellation insurance to cover any eventuality.

6. Right to refuse

We reserve the right to refuse any booking and, in exceptional circumstances, to cancel or alter arrangements made for you. If we should need to cancel the booking due to circumstances beyond our control we will refund in full all monies paid to us by you.

7. Arrival and Departure

The Cider Mill will be available to you from 3.00pm on the arrival day. The cottage must be vacated by 10.00am on the day of departure in order that cleaning can take place in preparation for new guests.

8. Parking

Cars must be parked within the confines of The Cider Mill and not on the owners' driveway.
